Job Title: Materials Associate
Location: Lenexa, KS
Department: Manufacturing
Reports to: Director of Production Control

Vantage MedTech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials/Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory, from receiving and storing materials to shipping finished goods to our clients.

**This is not a remote opportunity. This position is based in Lenexa, KS.  Local candidates only. We do not offer relocation assistance.   

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records, including transfers, receipts, issues, and cycle counts.
    • Manage the warehouse environment to ensure the control, integrity, and availability of stored materials, components, and finished goods.
    • Ensure materials received by Vantage MedTech are in good condition, as ordered, and meet all necessary inspection criteria.
  • Logistics & Shipping:
    • Coordinate outbound shipping requests accurately and promptly and ensure on-time delivery to clients without processing delays.
    • Ensure products shipped from Vantage MedTech are received by clients without damage by packaging according to specifications or in a reasonable manner for protection.
    • Accurately identify all shipped materials on all paperwork (including packing lists).
  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate on company initiatives for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes that improve your work processes.  
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Ensure that all shipped materials meet client specifications and adhere to documented processes to ensure compliance with FDA GMPs, Quality System Regulations, ISO Standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • General:
    • Maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and work environment.
    • Maintain a sense of urgency and ownership in all tasks.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Education and Experience: 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a materials/logistics environment.
  • Proficiency with basic office computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A willingness to work overtime as needed to meet customer shipping demands.
  • Competency in all key responsibilities as demonstrated through education, past project performance, results, and training.
