The Arena Group is looking for experienced automotive contributors to join our team on a freelance basis. If you have a deep understanding of the industry, a sharp editorial eye, and the ability to break down complex topics into compelling, reader-friendly stories, we want to hear from you!

To be considered for this role, you must submit at least two recently published automotive writing samples along with your application.

The Arena Group’s expected hourly pay range for this position is $30 - 45 USD. Actual pay will vary based on multiple factors including location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law.  The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group’s total compensation and benefits available to its employees. 

What You’ll Do:

• Write clear, engaging, and well-researched automotive articles, including but not limited to news, reviews, and features (1-2 pieces daily).

• Cover a variety of topics, from breaking industry trends to in-depth vehicle analysis.

• Ensure content is factually accurate and adheres to our editorial standards.

• Optimize copy for SEO while maintaining an engaging and informative tone.

• Pitch fresh story ideas that resonate with automotive enthusiasts. 

What You’ll Bring:

• At least two years of experience in automotive journalism or related writing.

• Deep knowledge of cars, EVs, and the automotive industry.

• Strong writing and research skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital publishing.
