Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Communications Manager will play a critical role in driving AbleNet’s marketing success by collaborating with the marketing team to understand goals and develop campaign recommendations, including timelines, messaging, and deliverables, as well as overseeing day-to-day project workflows. This position will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop strategic recommendations, manage approvals, and ensure deliverables align with business goals.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager with a strong understanding of marketing campaigns, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver impactful results.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Campaign Planning and Execution:
    • Partner with the marketing team to refine campaign goals and scope, acting as a point of contact and project lead—similar to an account manager—by taking initial concepts and collaborating on execution plans to bring them to life.
    • Develop strategic recommendations for campaign timelines, messaging, and deliverables.
    • Ensure campaigns are executed on time and align with overall marketing strategies.
    • Manage the creation and distribution of campaign tracking links to ensure accurate tracking and performance analysis, including compiling campaign summaries, reporting on metrics, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information for comprehensive evaluations.
    1. Project Management:
      • Manage project workflows, including task coordination, approval processes, and deliverable tracking using project management tools.
      • Act as the main point of contact for ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are updated on project progress.
      1. Content Coordination:
        • Work with the marketing team members to ensure campaign messaging and visuals align with brand guidelines.
        • Provide feedback on copy and design as part of the approval process.
        1. Collaboration:
          • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business goals.
          • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
          1. Additional Responsibilities:
            • Support the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, with strategic initiatives and other duties as assigned.

            1. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
            2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

            5. Experience providing feedback on content and design to align with brand standards.
            6. Proficiency in marketing tools such as Adobe, project management platforms, and CRM/email marketing systems.


            POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

            Education & Experience


            • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
            • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
            • 5-7 years of creative marketing communication experience 



             

            Physical, Time, Presence & Other Requirements

            Physical: 

             Up to 8 hours of computer keyboarding and handling customer correspondence via phone, emails, chat, and/or video conferencing

            Time:

             Full-Time, Exempt employees work an average of 40 hours per week.  Additional hours may be required as necessary.
