Business Project Analyst (Remote)

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Project Analyst to support the organization and coordination of specific projects. You will support & provide project oversight in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will align each project with specific business unit goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to gather & analyze data related to projects, write documentation, and communicate with stakeholders. The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the critical outcomes that meet or exceed expectations and are on schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers to gather feedback, communicate business requirements, and hold all stakeholders accountable to the project plan
• See digital product launches through from initial ideation, business requirements through the development agile methodology and into deployment
• Work directly with development team, attend and lead development scrums
• Manage and utilize resources across projects
• Manage stakeholders’ communication
• Leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement in sales efficiency, customer experience, & team productivity
• Translate underlying data into actionable insights for individual product performance
• Leverage dashboard and data visualization tools to make data visible and accessible to stakeholders

WHAT IT TAKES:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or a related field
• Possess strong analytical and organizational skills to manage priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
• Balanced business/technical background; prior experience with Salesforce (building and customizing reports, dashboards, & partner communities) is a plus
• Experience with project management techniques and methods
• Familiarity with Agile principles – blending traditional project management practices with an Agile development approach to provide the appropriate level of agility and predictability
• Experience in a collaborative environment with success in relationship management
• Strong knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with program/project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Miro, etc.) is a strong advantage
• Strong written and verbal communications skills (to include presentation skills)
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
• Industry knowledge of the insurance sector & related operational models is a strong advantage
