We are seeking a creative and data-driven Email Marketing Manager to lead our email and SMS efforts, driving customer engagement, acquisition, retention, and conversion. The person in this role will manage the planning, execution, and optimization of all email campaign activity, build targeted email lists, segment audiences, and implement nurture journeys to optimize engagement and conversion rates. You’ll have a strategic mindset and will own all aspects of our email marketing strategy and execution, engaging prospects and customers with personalized, impactful content that drives engagement, aligned to business goals.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Work closely with marketing, design, development teams and sales to develop strategies that leverage email to drive marketing KPI’s.
- Create high performing campaigns that resonate with prospects and customers that are visually appealing, on-brand and engaging for promotional, seasonal lifecycle campaigns and tactical initiatives.
- Create A/B testing strategies for subject lines, content and CTA’s to continuously improve performance.
- Adapt email campaigns to resonate with regional audiences by localising content, language, design and cultural nuances whilst ensuring compliance with country specific regulations.
- Use CRM data to populate dynamic fields and deliver hyper personalised messaging, improving relevance and engagement.
Nurture Programs, Segmentation, and Personalisation:
- Build and manage workflows, campaigns and lead nurturing programs maximising internal tools including Hubspot, Salesforce and analytical tools.
- Segment audiences based on behaviour, demographics and lifecycle stage to deliver hyper personalised and relevant content.
- Leverage data to create targeted and personalised campaigns based on customer behaviour, preferences and patterns.
- Maintain and document automated campaigns and email activity to ensure there is an updated playbook.
Design, Content Creation, and Collaboration:
- Craft compelling and on-brand email content, including copy, design and visuals, that resonate with different audience segments working closely with design, development and content teams.
- Leverage data driven insights to cater to specific user behaviours, preferences and lifecycle stages to create content that resonates with target audiences.
- Collaborate with design to create visually appealing and cohesive email templates that align with brand guidelines and identity.
Analysis and Optimisation:
- Track and monitor key performance metrics including open rates, click through rates, conversion to generate actionable insights and recommendations for strategies to maximise ROI
- Continuously test and optimise email templates, layouts, timing and segmentation to maximise engagement and conversion.
- Optimise emails for deliverability, mobile responsiveness and accessibility and continuously report and monitor.
- Regularly review and refine CRM strategies, workflows and automation strategies to improve efficiencies, reduce manual effort and scale.
CRM and Automation:
- Create and maintain a library of reusable email templates to streamline content creation and maintain consistency across campaigns.
- Oversee and maintain the health and functionality of the CRM (inc Hubspot, Salesforce interdependencies), ensuring accurate data collection, segmentation and reporting.
- Design, implement and optimise automated workflows to streamline lead nurturing, onboarding and customer engagement processes.
- Ensure seamless integration between the CRM, email marketing tools and other systems to enable data consistency and real time updates across platforms.
- Leverage CRM data to create detailed audience segments based on behaviours, demographics and engagement levels, enabling hyper-personalised campaigns.
- Refine lead scoring models to prioritise high-value leads and improve handoff process between marketing and sales.
- Develop multi-step automated drip campaigns to guide prospects through the buyer journey from initial awareness to conversion.
Database Management, Compliance and Deliverability:
- Maintain and clean the email database to ensure high deliverability and engagement rates aligned to industry beating standards.
- Partner with marketing automation, data and salesforce teams to improve lead scoring and lifecycle management processes.
- Ensure CRM workflows and automated processes adhere to global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and other global requirements.
- Regularly audit data practices and collaborate with internal legal and data teams to stay updated on evolving regulations.
Requirements
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a successful email marketing capacity, ideally within a B2B Saas company.
- Proven track record of designing and executing email campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Strong knowledge of Hubspot and related email marketing tools.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices including segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Great team player with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments in a global organization.
