About the role:


The Workday and HR Systems Team Lead will oversee the management and optimization of Workday and other HR-related applications. This role requires deep expertise in Workday, including integrations, as well as the ability to lead a team and partner with key stakeholders to ensure seamless HR technology operations and improvements.

Your daily tasks will entail:

Workday System Management

  • Lead the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the Workday system, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational needs.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Workday integrations with other business applications.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the HR IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Provide direction and technical expertise to team members, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of system-related tasks.

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

  • Drive system enhancements and improvements aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

System Audits and Compliance

  • Conduct regular audits of Workday and other HR systems to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security.

  • Partner with the legal and compliance teams to adhere to applicable regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR system inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective use of HR technology.

Training and Documentation

  • Develop and deliver training for system users to maximize adoption and effectiveness.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and integrations.

Other Duties

  • Support the implementation of new HR systems or modules.

  • Provide backup coverage for team members as needed.

What we expect from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Extensive experience managing Workday HCM, including configurations and integrations (5-7 years).

  • Prior experience with other HR technologies is a strong advantage.

  • Proven leadership experience, including team management or project leadership (2-3 years).

  • A total of 7-10 years of experience in HR IT, including exposure to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Deep understanding of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, TA, and Integrations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
