Are you ready to join the dynamic financial team at Collins Aerospace?  We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Associate Director, Program Finance & Control (PF&C) within our Mission System’s team.

In this critical position, you will collaborate with other disciplinary functions to achieve our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial planning & analysis, research, scheduling, budgeting, and internal/external compliance.

As the Associate Director, you will be the key figure in overseeing the preparation of financial forecasts, estimates at completion, utilizing financial and schedule modeling to provide strategic recommendations to our management team. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping our future direction and driving our success.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for workforce across multiple locations
  • Develop talent through a collaborative assessment of current knowledge, skills, and abilities and an actionable plan to achieve training, personal growth, and opportunities
  • Establish individual development plans with reviews for every employee in your department and mentor and coach your team through visible engagement
  • Familiarize and strengthen relationships with other functions/teams (Digital Technology, Contracts, Finance, Operations, Controllership, Business Development)
  • Responsible for supporting and implementing Earned Values Management System tools across the business unit
  • Responsible for System Description, Policies, and Procedures across the business unit
  • Responsible for onboarding of new employees, supporting unified CAM training, and the PF&C training series across the business unit
  • Responsible for program audit and reviews inclusive of DCMA, self-surveillance, internal surveillance and ensuring SDRL/EAC quality
  • Ensure all earned value metrics are in accordance with the Collins System Description, NDIA 32 Guidelines, and Statutory requirements
  • Ensure all schedule and health metrics are in accordance with the Collins System Description, PASEG, and Statutory requirements
  • Participate in annual review of process maps and Collins Management Initiative
  • Participate in Government and Industry working groups and communicate new guidance
  • Lead Earned Value Management System Council for Collins Aerospace and support bids and basis of estimates.
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Management experience leading / supervising employees
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role in the defense industry
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

Qualification We Prefer :

  • Experience with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including extensive experience in Excel

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
