Job description

Performance Marketing Director:
Shape the Future of Medical Research
  • 100% remote, forever
  • Unlimited paid leave
  • Total compensation 20% above market

Hello—we’re Trialfacts.

We’re a remote, entrepreneurial company playing a crucial role in advancing medical research. We're looking for a Performance Marketing Director with experience in cross-platform B2C lead generation or health marketing and advertising. If you're passionate about making a difference, thrive in a remote work environment, and are driven to innovate, this role is for you.

Your Role:

  • Lead and Expand: Spearhead participant recruitment, ensuring a steady flow of study participants for our clients’ health research. Scale multi-channel marketing across social, video, search, display, native, and programmatic platforms. Expand database marketing (email, SMS, automation) to boost referrals and repeat participation.
  • Manage and Mentor: Restructure and elevate the team to build a high-performance culture. Ensure the right talent, roles, and leadership structure are in place to meet department KPIs and company objectives.
  • Strategize and Innovate: Enhance patient recruitment with a data-driven approach. Diversify advertising channels, reduce reliance on Meta, and maximize campaign effectiveness.

What We Offer:

  • Autonomy and Flexibility: Set your own hours, enjoy unlimited PTO, and work from anywhere with a good internet connection.
  • Impact: Work with research teams from organizations like AstraZeneca, Harvard, and Stanford.
  • Innovation: Shape the future of participant recruitment, optimize marketing operations, and develop industry-leading multi-channel strategies.
  • Leadership Role: Join our high-performing leadership team and contribute to key company decisions.
  • Growth and Learning: Access professional development, courses, and training programs.
  • Rewarding Career: Contribute to health research while developing leadership and strategic skills with growth opportunities in a fast-evolving company.

This Position Is Ideal For You If You:

  • Exemplify Leadership: Have experience building and leading marketing teams, coaching talent, and driving performance.
  • Are a Performance Marketing Expert: Have a strong track record in multi-channel performance marketing, advertising, or lead generation. Experience in participant recruitment and medical advertising is a plus, but not required.
  • Have Lead Generation Experience: Possess a strong background in designing and executing lead generation strategies that drive high-quality conversions.
  • Have Advertising Agency Experience: Bring experience working in an agency setting, managing multiple campaigns, and optimizing performance across various clients and industries.
  • Execution with Urgency: Take a bias for action, drive campaigns to completion, and use performance data to optimize results. Collaborate with Client Success to improve bottom-of-funnel conversions.
  • Are Data-Driven: Use data to inform strategic decisions. Analytics experience is a bonus.
  • Embrace Flexibility and Innovation: Adapt to a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and solve problems creatively in a regulated industry.
