Job description

Senior Software Engineer - Java - Remote

Company overview:

Hiring for one of our regions leading super app for home services. They connect individual needs with on-demand services, through our innovative marketplace platform.

Job Description:

  1. Strong proficiency in Java
  2. Experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot
  3. High comfort level with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB
  4. Proficient in working with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
  5. Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis)
  6. Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services
  7. Good grasp of the SOLID principles
  8. Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills
  9. Comfortable with Git version control system
  10. Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  11. Willingness to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine)
  12. Willingness to participate in our on-call rota
  13. Performing unit and integration tests to ensure backend services' reliability

Other Details:

Experience: 4+ years in Java

Location: Remote

Working hours / DayS: Mon to Fri (5 days and 9am-6pm with Dubai times)

Salary: In USD

Note: On call duty need to be on call for 1 night in 3 weeks. And one weekend in 3 months.
