Job description

The Job

We are seeking a highly analytical Commercial Analyst (Pricing) to join our Commercial Management team. In this role, your primary focus will be on pricing strategy and driving the professionalization and standardization of our pricing processes. You will play a key role in transitioning from a decentralized pricing approach to a more centralized, streamlined structure. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of price uploads into SAP by developing and implementing a robust and user-friendly upload template. Your secondary focus will involve managing other critical aspects of commercial profitability, including SKU count, intake margin, segmentation, distribution, and conditions.

Your keen eye for detail, exceptional Excel skills (and ideally also PowerBI skills) will enable you to build robust reports and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.

As a Commercial Analyst (Pricing), you work closely together with the Commercial Management team, Product Management, Product development, Data management, Sales and Sales Support across the world.

We expect you to have a flexible and hands-on mentality. You are structured, highly analytical, figure driven and able to translate analyses and findings into concrete actions plans/targets.

Your Mission

  • Profitability Management: set and manage targets for SKU count, intake margin, segmentation and distribution, pricing, discounts, and conditions to ensure optimal profitability.

  • Reporting & Analysis: develop and maintain comprehensive reports to track performance against commercial targets. Provide detailed analysis and insights to support decision-making. 

  • Target Setting: collaborate with the Manager Commercial Management to establish realistic and achievable commercial targets for collection building, tiering and segmentation. 

  • Support & Follow-up: assist the Manager Commercial Management with reporting, analysis, and follow-up actions to ensure the successful implementation of commercial collection and segmentation strategies. 

  • Data Management: utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with various departments to gather relevant data and insights, fostering a collaborative approach to commercial management. Offer support across the value chain (also within the Commercial management department), asked and unasked. 

Your Talent

  • Bachelor/Masters degree and 3- 5 years experience within similar Retail/Brand business. Ideally in a commercial function within an international sports or fashion (global brand) organization; 

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working; 

  • Advanced Excel Skills and good knowledge of MS Office in general; 

  • Prior experience or affinity with reporting in PowerBi is a major plus; 

  • Grounded, down to earth attitude; 

  • Conceptual & commercial skills with a hands-on mentality;  

  • Your traits: assertive, independent, proactive, resolving power and a healthy dose of decisiveness; 

  • Excellent communication and social skills to discuss and explain information to audiences with varying knowledge levels. 
     

This role is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
