Job Description:
The CSLV GTM & BD Growth Program manager is responsible for overseeing the entire ecosystem of program design, development, and deployment processes; including project management, team leadership, strategy development, budget management, communication with stakeholders, establishing development standards, orchestrating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality results on time and within budget as per defined program scope and ROI; collaborate with various departments to achieve project goals.
If located near an office the team would be expecting candidate to go to office 2-3 times per week, if not located within 50 miles of an office and in the US, for qualified candidate this may be open to remote within the US.
Job Family Definition:
Responsible for driving business growth by developing new business or new ways to grow revenue of existing business. Leads the PMO team in preparing and communicating the customer business case/proposal for emerging markets, existing markets, and specific deals. Manages the governance and orchestration of new business growth opportunity creation and strategic planning and developing and substantiating the services value proposition.
Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas and provides business value selling expertise for specific solutions. Devises and executes a growth plan that meets business goals for a given GBU, geographic and/or service business area, including accountability for achieving revenue & order targets.
Builds high-quality operationalized and structure programs, overseeing program management activities, creates the operational processes that deliver efficiencies, accountability, and agility to the organization, bringing incremental revenue. Generate customer & partner demand in partnership with marketing & sales insights -- OS & CS Excellence teams.
Management Level Definition:
Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex projects and issues within established methodology and programmatic approach.
Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master). Has accountability for a global multi-department area(s) with significant impact on business unit results and organizational strategy. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall Growth Program to accelerate order, revenue, and efficiencies' goals of the organization. Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Position typically reports to Director or above.
Additional Guidance/Criteria: Manages and controls activities within a sub-region or Region; Typically manages +6 or more direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master). Has accountability for a large multi-department program with significant impact on business unit results and organizational strategy.
- Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall programs and long-term goals of the organization.
- Define project scope, setting milestones, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Creates strategic Growth Program business plan for organization within guidelines of documented GBUs, Geos, and OS & CS Excellence teams objectives.
- Establishing program standards, best practices, and quality assurance procedures for the PMO team.
- Contributing to the overall development strategy, identifying opportunities, and aligning project goals with business objectives. Ensure proposed projects receive appropriate support, through strong business case and ROI analysis.
- Creating and managing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving measures.
- Leading and motivating the development team, providing feedback and coaching, managing performance, and resolving conflicts.
- Staying updated on industry trends and market research to inform development decisions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
- Providing regular updates on project/program status, performance metrics, and key insights to leadership.
- Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both.
- Hiring and training new developers, identifying and addressing skill gaps within the team.
- Coach and mentor employee & direct reports. May coach and mentor non-direct reports as needed.
- Manage FPR process for the company employees. Manage team and individual performance.
- Deliver committed results by program, monitoring achievement against ROI/Targets.
- Establish individual as well as team goals and objectives focused on Revenue Growth.
- Monitor & report on key metrics to ensure goals are met.
- Advise management and peers on broad organizational, technical, and strategic matters of importance.
- Create links with OS & CS Excellent teams and cross-organizations including but not limited to Services offering; Marketing; Delivery; Presales teams; Data Insights; IT; CRM teams etc.
- Develops excellent stakeholder relationships and interest over the span of lengthy complex and large program cycles and continually builds & reinforces expectations vs. scope of programs.
- Foster collaboration and to be a credible partner through active persuasion and education, driving success across the organization.
- Develops and champions the business justification for the company services to ensure a successful engagement based on critical case review.
- Provides direction, leadership, and coaching, removes barriers as needed to enable direct reports to execute their roles and achieve objectives of each Program.
- Creating a working environment that is conducive to individual growth, high performance, is challenging and rewarding. Achieves diversity and other HR goals.
- Liaison and interlock with stakeholders, CxO level.
- Supports business program narratives, QBR info, slide deck creation for executive reviews
- Ability to synthesize and frame data and findings to senior leadership with associated insight and recommendations

- Promote standardization and programmatic approach on how to manage programs – high quality standards for programmatic approach
- Foster and drive adoption of PMO methodologies to speed up program cycle, as phased approach, focusing on quick wins and simplification.
- Apply quality methodologies and measurement to drive excellence
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically, 5+ years in the service Industry and 3+ years in developing new business growth programs and opportunities to support Sales & Partner success – OS & CS Excellence.
- Operational Services knowledge.
- Customer Success knowledge.
- Established management background of high-level individual contributors & people managers (leading teams).
- Advanced University degree preferable.
- Fluent in English.
- Exceptional candidate that shows adaptability, flexibility, and strong leadership with overachievement of personal and team objectives/goals.

- Candidate must have experience at working with senior management level/VP levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation.
- Advanced group facilitation, and interviewing skills.

- Financial Acumen on preparing team short and long-term budget requirements and controls.
- Excellent analytical thinker, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills. Expertise accessing analytics teams to utilize existing reports or enhance data elements & quality.
- Experience connecting with stakeholders to understand needs & requirements.
- Knowledge to turn available data into information that can drive action.
- Make data integrity checks and apply business logic/sense.
- Visualize and prepare data/information and make it ready for senior executive consumption.
- Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables and charts, conditional formatting, lookup functions, etc.
- Ability to build partnerships across different teams, and drive execution to the goal without formal authority.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
- Good understanding of HPE products and services with a deep understanding of go-to-market, and customer segmentation.
