Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior System Integrator/Software Developer to join our team!

Successful candidates must have the ability and flexibility to learn new technologies on-the-fly and be able to troubleshoot multiple applications' interactivity.  Must be able to function well within a diverse technical team and have significant technical communication experience for documenting and communicating solutions that will be used by a technical team with diverse areas of expertise.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.  Must possess an in-depth knowledge of both utilizing and administering local and remote instances of Debian/Ubuntu operating systems.
• Experience interacting with virtual environments and resource management technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Specifically, experience with Kubernetes cluster management, docker image creation, and virtual networking.
• Extensive experience with scripting and programming, such as bash and python, in-depth knowledge of "web" programming (JavaScript/jQuery/Flask), REST APIs, and developmental environment libraries, such as pip or anaconda.
• Experience with version/source control software (git/GitHub/bitbucket) as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, and quality testing is critical.
• Require at least a B.S. degree (but prefer M.S.) in math, engineering, or computer science and at least 5 years of directly related experience.
• The position requires a DoD secret clearance and onsite work at least 3 days per week on Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, with flexibility for 5 days per week if the Army customer mandates it.

Salary Range: 

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
