Job description

 

How will this role have an impact?

The Clinical Compliance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing client audit requests comprehensively to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulation requirements, and adherence to contractual obligations. You play a critical role as the conduit between Client Success and necessary parties in identifying requests, gathering and effectively organizing and maintaining accurate inputs, communicating audit needs, and playing point during all client audit process activities.

 

What will you do?

  • Manage/oversee audit process
  • Populate requests from the client, communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders, and follow up and follow through with additional requests to ensure the client’s audit is satisfied regarding corrective actions, attestations, regulation update and reviews, and risk assessments
  • Own audit planning; Partner with Client Success team as well as other departments, managing audit evidence preparation, maintain detailed documentation of audit procedures, findings, and follow-up actions
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all audits and related activities
  • Establish project plans, gap analysis, milestone dates, and other significant aspects, and leadership updates
  • Stay up-to-date through departmental discussions on industry regulations, law, and strategies to create best practices with subject matter experts
  • Conduct facilitation of collection of required inputs, document findings in repository, and ensure comprehensiveness
  • Interface with internal subject matter experts and Legal and Compliance and external clients throughout audit process
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective yearly audits for our clients

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in an health care setting
  • Working understanding of business, financials, and CMS/Regulatory requirements
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-directed independent performer, able to act independently and manage day to day objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in providing advice and consultation on complex topics to non-specialists; ability to communicate effectively with leadership
  • Expertise in collaboration and the generation of a spirit for cooperation while coordinating different activities and groups within a group
  • Able to quickly respond to changing business needs, priorities and timelines
  • Curious, analytical, and data-driven
