Job description

🤠 About User Interviews
At User Interviews, we believe that the best companies in the world consistently deliver products and experiences that their customers love. We also believe that the only way to consistently build those products and experiences is to talk to your customers. Watch what they do. Understand why they do what they do. Figure out why they do things that seem irrational. And once you’ve done that once, do it again. Start having constant conversations. In short, make customers your #1 priority through user research.

That’s why we exist. We help teams set up those conversations, that research, allowing them to discover and embrace user insights. We specialize in participant recruitment and management because you cannot do good research without good participants, no matter how good your other tools may be. We work with hundreds of companies every month, including user-centric organizations like Atlassian, Amazon, and Spotify.

⭐️ The Talent Team
As we grow, so does the Talent team. We’re focused on building a team of talented, passionate, and mission-driven individuals who align with our values and thrive in a remote-first environment. We’re excited to add a Recruiter to help us grow strategically and thoughtfully.

🧩 What You’ll Do
User Interviews’ is growing—and evolving. We’re a Series B startup that hires in waves, scaling thoughtfully as we bring in the right people at the right time. As a Recruiter at User Interviews, you’ll be a key player in building our team. You’ll report to our Talent Acquisition Manager and partner with hiring managers across the company to help us find, attract, and hire top talent. This isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about bringing in the right people who will thrive in our culture and help shape the future of our company.

We’re looking for someone who loves talking to people and building relationships—whether it’s learning about their career journeys, understanding what excites them about a role, or guiding them through the hiring process. Success in this role also means being adaptable. You’ll work with hiring managers who have different styles, communication preferences, and levels of recruiting experience. Some will need guidance on structuring an interview process, while others will want a true thought partner in the hiring process.

Come join a small but mighty Talent team in a high-growth startup, where your impact will be felt every day.

📣 Responsibilities
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates—ensuring a smooth and efficient experience at every step.
• Talent Pipelines: Proactively source and cultivate relationships with top talent, ensuring we always have strong candidates in the pipeline.
• Culture Ambassador: Represent User Interviews authentically, helping candidates understand our values, team dynamics, perks & benefits.
• Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create interview plans, and align on hiring strategies with the hiring team.
• Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional experience for every candidate, ensuring timely communication and transparent feedback.
• Optimize Hiring Processes: Continuously evaluate our hiring workflows, identifying ways to make them more efficient and effective. Your insights will help us scale smarter, not just faster.
• Data-Driven Recruiting: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify areas for hiring improvement using hiring metrics and insights.

🤩 What Success Looks Like
• You build strong relationships with top talent!
• You excite candidates about joining User Interviews by effectively showcasing our culture, values, and mission.
• Hiring managers trust and rely on you because you keep things organized, efficient, and moving forward.
• You build diverse pipelines and create innovative sourcing strategies to achieve hiring goals.
• You balance speed and quality, ensuring we bring in the right people at the right time—not just fill seats.
• You thrive in a dynamic startup environment, embrace change, and drive hiring with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
• You are a proactive communicator who anticipates needs, provides clarity, and fosters open dialogue to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

🚀 Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of full-cycle, high volume recruiting experience.
• Proven ability recruiting for multiple functions, including GTM (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations) and non-GTM roles (Product and Engineering).
• Strong sourcing skills and experience building diverse pipelines. Ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Exceptional people skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient with Greenhouse (or similar ATS tools)
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize effectively.
• Candidates must be located in the United States and authorized to work without Visa sponsorship.

🥳 Bonus Points
• Prior experience recruiting for fast-paced startups.
• Passion for advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.

💚 Why Join Us
• We’re a team of doers. You’ll be fully supported by your manager and team, but there won’t be anyone peering over your shoulder. You’ll be expected and trusted to take ownership of your work, and to communicate clearly and transparently with your distributed teammates.
• User Interviews is a fully remote team and always has been. We are proactive about staying connected to each other despite not sharing the same physical space. Remote culture is real and we care about it—a lot.
• On a related note, we’re very pro-feedback. From our users, of course. But also from each other. From individual contributors right up to the CEO, this is a team that is genuinely committed to continuous improvement.
• We embrace what makes you, you! We are committed to accessibility, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We build products for and welcome participants, researchers, and employees from a diverse set of backgrounds. These backgrounds include—but are not limited to—varied socioeconomic status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, age, neurodivergence, disability, and citizenship. As we grow, we are aware that this work is continuous. We will not settle for how things are, but rather strive for how they could be.
