Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded Finance Business Partner (CFO) to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior management team, working closely alongside the CEO and operations Director. He/She will be providing financial insight, analysis, and support to the business domains in financial and legal matters.  

 

Your Responsibilities: 

Financial Strategy & Business Controlling: 

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy to support long-term business objectives. 

  • Oversee financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. 

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial and operational efficiency. 

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all business units. 

  • Execute and analyze rolling forecasts to proactively steer the business. 

Executive Business Partnering: 

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, offering financial insights to support business growth and performance. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue growth opportunities. 

  • Drive finance-oriented improvements, including BI reporting tools, automation, and optimization of financial processes. 

Risk Management & Legal: 

  • Ensure compliance with financial (statutory) regulations, company policies, and internal controls. 

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose effective mitigation strategies. 

  • Oversee audits and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 

  • Participate in the contracting and negotiation process from a legal and finance perspective. 

Performance Management & Strategic Planning: 

  • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of business units, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement. 

  • Provide recommendations for performance improvements and cost-saving initiatives. 

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and high-level decision-making. 

  • Play a key role in strategic initiatives such as M&A activities, business unit expansion, and corporate investments
