Machine Learning Engineer (India)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Machine Learning Engineer on the AI Models team at Weni by VTEX, you will have the opportunity to build intelligent agents and multi-agent systems leveraging cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies. This is a chance to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, directly impacting the future of generative AI by developing scalable and high-performance solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Participate in collaborative technical meetings with the AI Models team and other teams involved in the solutions.  
• Lead the full adaptation cycle of LLM models for specific contexts, including research, design, experimentation, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.  
• Develop and maintain Python scripts using libraries and frameworks such as WeniCorals and AWS Bedrock.  
• Configure models, memory, guardrails, Lambda Functions, and prompts to efficiently orchestrate multi-agent systems.  
• Perform maintenance and updates on WeniCorals, ensuring successful integration with AWS Bedrock and other frameworks.  
• Conduct unit stress tests (per agent) and in collaborative multi-agent systems.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

• You have a strong foundation in LLMs and a deep understanding of Machine Learning, with proven experience in fine-tuning models.  
• You have advanced knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP).  
• You are highly experienced in Python.  
• You have worked with agents and multi-agents.  
• You master Prompt Engineering.  
• You are fluent or have advanced English proficiency.  
• You structure technical and logical solutions for abstract problems.  
• You are curious and always exploring new trends and technologies in AI.  
• You are results-oriented and committed to delivering high-impact, high-quality solutions.
