Position Overview This role is specifically aligned to our Veterinary Science customers.
The Project Delivery Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising Project Managers tasked with defining, planning, tracking, and managing clinical projects including time tracking for PM and engineering efforts. The applicable projects will be a mix of implementation campaigns and existing time and material work. Serving as an experienced professional escalation point as well as a personnel Supervisor, Project Deliver Supervisor will need to drive their team to success through clear expectation setting, task management, capacity management and leading continuous improvement initiatives. A Project Delivery Supervisor will communicate with and organize Thrive internal resources including Project Delivery Leads, Engineers, Consultants, and Architects using Project Management software, checklists, and reports.
The ideal candidate needs to possess strong management skills and have experience in managed services, technology solutions, and Veterinary Science customers. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are necessary to navigate escalations, gain customer confidence, and bring projects live quickly. The applicant must be able to motivate people, encourage teamwork, and communicate effectively with senior management and Veterinary Science personas (COOs, CTOs, and Veterinary Staff). He/she must be able to manage change and take active leadership in timely decision making. It is expected that individuals in this role are extremely responsive to customers and management.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and cross-functional leadership
Assign projects based on capacity, expertise, and technical fit
Lead daily stand-up meetings and ensure 100%-time entry and capacity utilization
Prepare weekly project review documentation and lead meeting with client CTO and Thrive leadership
Serve as an escalation point to ensure project delivery exceeds client expectations
Investigate customer needs and facilitate project plan design
Keep project resources on task and maintain accurate forecasts
Develop Project Delivery Leads and lead by example
Respond quickly to inquiries and be highly available
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to Supervise the Veterinary Sciences project management team
Advanced experience (5+ years) in personnel management and development
Advanced experience (5+ years) in project management and/or professional services
Advanced experience (5+ years) working with Veterinary Science customers in some capacity (technology, software, account management/csm, support)
Experience implementing managed services and information technology solutions
Skilled in data analysis, managing project plans, writing project artifacts, and documenting customer workflows
