The Cloud Operations Specialist is critical to the success of our overall cloud strategy, bringing core skills that will help us meet the demands of our growing cloud business. As a key member of our operations team, you will own transacting against our entire cloud business, including IaaS and SaaS solutions that we bring to market. You will often take point on identifying and refining processes and procedures that will help this business grow and scale. Responsibilities:
Build quotes, prepare contracts, process orders, and provision new IaaS and SaaS subscriptions with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Facilitate the execution of high value transactions for the cloud program you support.
Ensure that cloud provider compliance is maintained by understanding constantly evolving vendor requirements, and solutioning ways to ensure our customers meet those requirements.
Operate with a project management mindset: always be thinking about ways to build, implement, and improve our processes, systems, and ways of doing business.
Participate in – and often lead – ad-hoc projects and programs centered on driving operational excellence.
Build strong cross-functional relationships across sales, delivery, support, and customer success teams to help ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on our various cloud programs, and acquire a thorough understanding of the key differences among them.
Educate and support our account team on the operational processes required to successfully transact our subscription products and services.
Collaborate on the resolution of billing and invoicing issues related to the platform/ subscription base you are supporting.
Requirements
3+ years’ experience working within a high-volume operational team; ideally within a subscription management/ order management/ contract management environment.
Transactional systems acumen: this will help you be successful, as we transact across several platforms, including Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, AppDirect and others.
A customer first mentality, centered on ensuring the best possible experience.
A problem-solving mind that can lend itself to identifying how we can improve and optimize processes.
Strong communication skills, and experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders including sales teams, vendors, and other internal operational teams.
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
