Role Overview
iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated International Senior Payroll Associate who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, taking on the responsibility of day-to-day communication and the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant payrolls for our clients, to help drive to our goal of ‘Paying the Planet’.
The Senior International Payroll Associate will play a vital role in supporting the accurate and timely processing of payrolls across multiple countries and clients. The role involves working closely with internal teams, clients and in-country third parties, to ensure compliance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll delivery and service level management
Delivering accurate and compliant payroll processing for a group of assigned clients and payrolls, co-ordinating the client’s requirements and managing the process with our trusted in-country payroll network. Managing the allocation of international payrolls, including data processing and quality and accuracy reviews within the pay cycle and beyond (to include, but not limited to, any Yearend processes). Ensuring accurate and timely data submission for internal and external SLA’s/KPI’s.
Scheduling and time management
Managing and delivering client payrolls against the agreed schedule - communicating directly with clients and ICPs in order to meet or exceed the client deadlines. Escalating issues within client and iiPay to meet and exceed the agreed service level agreement. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines with flexibility to adjust to changes in regulations, policies and company needs.
Operational excellence
A relentless focus on maintaining a high customer satisfaction rating. Individually, and as a team member, strive to improve the systems, processes and payroll delivery environment to maximise the efficiency and accuracy of our client contracts.
Innovation
Collaborate with your peers to review payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve the processes in place. Work with your team leader to implement new processes and create a more efficient working environment.
Communication
Managing and maintaining clear and informative communications to clients, our partners and internally to the wider team and our Client Service Managers. Review and resolve any outstanding payroll queries or requests by working directly with our clients and international third-party partners.
Country legislation knowledge
Take responsibility for understanding client requirements in a group of countries through the development of detailed knowledge of the statutory processes for those countries. Maintaining accurate online document libraries for your clients’ operations manuals, updating with new versions and providing a clear summary of updated information.
Process and System Knowledge
Take full ownership of your continuous learning and development across all platforms and internal tools, ensuring a deep and comprehensive understanding of processes. Lead by example in completing all assigned training through iiPay's enhanced learning program and actively seek opportunities for advanced self-directed learning. Support and mentor colleagues in their development while remaining at the forefront of industry best practices and internal system updates.
Project delivery
Owning or contributing to specific company projects such as improving and/or changing systems, processes or functions within the business. Ensuring adoption for all new system features in a timely manner to ensure expected efficiency is realised in a timely manner.
Escalation and problem resolution
Owning, managing and resolving client escalations, seeking help from the Team Leader/Payroll Operations Manager/Director, where needed, whilst driving resolution. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure status of escalation is known. Working with the payroll provider management team to enhance and develop the processes and outcomes for our partner network.
Team Champion
You will champion processes, improvements and provide support, where needed, to others on the team. Collate ideas from other team members on improvements that can be made to processes and how we collaborate and communicate with our clients and ICPs. Assist the Team Leader/Operations Manager with the second checking of the team’s output and suggest process improvements for increasing accuracy.
What are we looking for in you?
· Minimum 5 years of experience working in a payroll or ‘Business Process’ orientated environment is required.
· Proven experience in an administration position with client ‘facing’ responsibilities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
· The ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
· Intermediate Excel skills
· Strong business English skills are critical with a benefit for additional language skills
