Data Architect (Remote)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Design Integration Lead:

• Lead data consolidation efforts, including data integration and installation to specifications.
• Independently lead the Enterprise data projects in Enterprise Data Warehouse, D365 and Master Data Management
• Lead and oversee data integration processes, ensuring accurate data flow and functionality.
• Facilitate data integrations with external systems (e.g., OTM, EDI, BankFabric).
• Create and maintain comprehensive Solution High Level and Detailed Design Documents focused on data architecture.
• Evaluate new data solutions and recommend strategies for their integration into the existing landscape.

Lead Data Architecture Planning:

• Develop and drive the execution of Action Plans
• Develop and deliver Project Charters
• Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Data Mapping documentation

Lead Master Data Management (MDM):

• Develop and implement long-term MDM strategies in alignment with business goals
• Design, implement, and manage data models for master data entities (Customer, Accounts, Vendors, Products, Locations, and employees)
• Define and maintain master data producer and consumer document
• Develop integration models to synchronize data from multiple systems
• Profile the master data sources, identify the data quality gaps and implement data quality routines
• Develop data integration process for master data consumption
• Coordinate with business to develop match and merge rules for master data
• Participate in Data Governance council and implement the data policies, guidelines and processes as defined by Data Governance council.

Data Implementation:

• Support application development implementations and upgrades, while mitigating risks and managing change effectively.
• Define and oversee data migration activities, including detailed data mapping between systems.
• Implement data quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all data sources.

Data Stability and Governance:

• Define and document recurring data imports and exports, including System Architecture Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity and security.

Hands-On Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide day-to-day hands-on support for troubleshooting data imports, data integrity issues, and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related challenges and optimize processes.

SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

SOX Compliance:

• Ensure that system architecture and data design adhere to global SOX compliance and existing IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
• Maintain regulatory compliance for data handling globally.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related challenges and optimize processes.
