Job Description
For our regional office, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. The Regional Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for the design, development, execution, and evaluation of effective learning programmes on a regional scale, to address business needs, achieve measurable outcomes, and maximize employee skill development and learning. Your role
The Regional Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, executing, and evaluating learning solutions that are scalable and aligned with the Fugro Academy learning design principles. Vendor management is crucial, involving the use of existing global vendors when possible, and identifying and evaluating potential vendors based on criteria such as cost, quality, and reliability. The specialist will onboard and manage learning vendors, ensuring they understand and can meet the company's requirements.
Continuous improvement is a focus, applying trends, best practices, and learning theory to enhance processes and the effectiveness of the regional learning approach. This includes identifying efficiencies in current ways of working across the region and prioritizing process improvements based on impact. The specialist will lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with the Regional L&D Coordinator, [Country] L&D Specialist(s), and L&D Administrators to streamline current processes.
Learning data and analytics are utilized to initiate meaningful conversations with the business and other stakeholders. Data from the Performance and Personal Development (PPD) and the Peakon engagement survey is considered to prioritize the design and rollout of new programs.
