We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Data Modeling Architect / Solution Engineer to join our Data Modeling and Analytics Solution Engineering team. This role is integral in designing and implementing robust information solutions to support our analytics portfolio. As a key team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create logical and physical data models that align with business needs and ensure efficient data delivery solutions. What you’ll need to be successful:

• Proven ability to analyze and translate business requirements into logical data models.
• Experience developing logical data models based on existing applications and databases.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing "semi-dimensional" and dimensional data models for analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience performing physical data modeling for platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Ability to lead solution architecture design and documentation while aligning with business and technical goals.
• Skilled in collaborating with business architects, data architects, and data stewards to capture and document business requirements.
• Proficiency in partnering with product owners and analysts to understand upstream business processes and data features.
• Competence in creating data flow diagrams and documenting data lineage for governance purposes.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in 3NF logical, dimensional, and physical data modeling.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or E/R Studio (Erwin preferred).
• Strong knowledge of relational and document database technologies.
• Familiarity with data management disciplines, including:
  • Data governance
  • Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
  • Data warehousing and analytics
  • Metadata management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Industry experience in Financial Services.
• Knowledge of advanced metadata management tools and practices.
• Familiarity with modern technical tools such as Markdown, GitHub, and collaborative documentation platforms.
