Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Product Line Manager to join the Global Jordan Energy Apparel team. An ideal PLM is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive to learn and the ability to adapt quickly. A passion for serving our consumers is a must! We are looking for someone who will partner effectively with diverse teams and can support our team by creatively solving problems.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Jordan Energy Apparel Product Creation Team  manages the apparel & accessories product portfolio inclusive of external collaborations. This role will play a key role in supporting the team on all aspects of the product creation process .  

You’ll be working with the Product Management Team and a cross-functional team (Merchandising, Design and Technical Design) on the apparel creation process from brief to final product approval. You will ensure the Product Team hits all Game Plan Dates by helping to  prepare for meetings ( sample set-up, document preparation, managing pre-read documents, recapping meetings, etc.). You will help with documentation Management by scrutinizing documents communicating changes to the triad and key partners. You will be responsible for sample organization and tracking.

As our PLM, you will be the voice of the consumer; keeping a pulse on relevant trends with an emphasis on streetwear culture.

You will collaborate with the Merchandising team to create impactful presentations to effectively hand over the line to our Geo partners.

You will manage the product creation workflow through data management and effective collaboration across cross-functional triad partners. You will be delivering on key dates and holding yourself accountable to be a great teammate. Ensure data accuracy in key documents such as; VLP, Sales Tools, Miro Boards.

In addition, you will learn how to analyze various business metrics to help you plan and manage the line with your SPLMs. You will work with the category information analyst to confirm the accuracy of the information in the MMX system (i.e., FOB, landed costs, targeted wholesale prices, forecasted units). You will help manage the three-year line plan.

A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of the information in key systems, sample management, participating in and conducting meetings, and providing clear communication to guide cross-functional teams thru critical checkpoints.

We work closely with our Product Management and Merchandising teammates, Design and Tech Development, Planning, and Operational teams to manage the product creation cycle.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • 2 years of related experience in a product-related role
  • Ability to manage multiple product creation timelines
  • Passion for apparel and streetwear culture across mens and womens
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic; takes the initiative and is proactive
  • A sense of curiosity and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive consensus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations (efficient in Keynote, Miro, PPT, etc.)
