Theoria’s Technology Department is currently seeking a dynamic Compliance Lead to join our team. As a Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for maintaining a culture of compliance.

Shift Structure: 

  • Monday-Friday 10am-6pm EST
  • Remote 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Strategic Planning: Design and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Compliance Execution: Monitor adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate compliance risks and investigate breaches or violations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on compliance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field; compliance certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of compliance experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be punctual or on time and adhere to the company's Time and Attendance policy.
  • Must be able to remain sitting for the majority of their shift.
