Job description

The marketing specialist role will consist of assisting the product managers with daily tasks for all print and digital advertising that is sold. They will attend vendor meetings and maintain vendor relationships as needed to help our team grow sales and market share.

The essential duties and responsibilities are outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Automatic Buy/Gets (Marketplace)
  • Non-Automatic Buy/Get
  • Quarterly Promotions
  • Show Specials
  • Digital Ads - Web Tiles, Search Banners and Cart tiles - Make sure that only 8 Web Tile are up per month, for ALL PM's. From Start to finish including stats
  • Solicitations for all publications and all other advertisements
  • Be the point person for CS emails/questions on Promotions
  • Recommend search words to vendors based on top search word list for search banners
  • Get PM to approve items/content when ad is received from vendor for publications, web tiles, etc. to ensure best focus
  • Monitor BBD Page Count
  • Monitor Promo questions on Teams
  • Update sales roster each quarter
  • Enter Bluchip multipliers as needed
  • Attend vendor meetings as needed - New 2023/2024
  • Automatic Buy Gets (Prelude) This includes Brand promotions - New in 2023/2024

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma/GED
  • Skills Needed: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Photoshop. Strong computer skills with an ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data. Exhibits customer focused behavior such as high attention to detail and ability to understand customers’ needs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment.
