Role Overview

We are looking to fill one full-time professor position to support our degree programs, especially a new program we are planning to launch in the field of Organizational Psychology. The role holder will have expertise in the field of Organizational Psychology, ideally with a passion for sustainability issues. We are looking for candidates who have expertise in fostering responsible innovation and inspiring leaders through their teaching and research. In this role, you will be expected to take on program director responsibilities. You will also become part of the founding academic team, taking the initiative to create and carry out your own projects from day one.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program director responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the recruitment of students
  • Ensuring selection and admissions policies are followed
  • Introducing students to the program
  • Developing the program curriculum and ensuring documentation is up-to-date
  • Sourcing, appointing, and supervising Challenge Owners, ensuring that they deliver challenges in a way that is consistent with the ToU pedagogy
  • Maintaining contact with program graduates
  • Ensuring the quality of the program and liaising with accrediting bodies as appropriate
  • Contributing to the identification of and collaboration with external partners, ambassadors, and mentors


Professorship Responsibilities:

  • Course development and program management for our newly to-be-launched MA in Organizational Psychology program
  • Planning, content creation, and implementation of introductory and advanced asynchronous courses with synchronous teaching components in the field of Organizational Psychology
  • Planning and implementation of research projects including publication activities, ideally focused on the acquisition of third-party funding
  • Advising and supervising students
  • Developing appropriate assessment instruments and criteria, assessing the work and progress of students according to the criteria, and providing constructive feedback to students
  • Supervising student projects, challenges, and bachelor’s and master’s theses
  • Establishing partnerships with companies and research institutions
  • Administrative activities and committee work
