Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 9 am - 1 pm Alexandria NSW

Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our innovative marketing team. In this exciting role, you’ll be at the forefront of digital marketing for a major player in the Australian automotive industry. You’ll manage over 30 social media pages across 25 dealerships, scheduling engaging content and running impactful ad campaigns. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of automotive brands, balancing consistent messaging with localized engagement strategies. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our online presence and driving customer interactions across both urban and regional markets.

Responsibilities
  • Expertly manage and schedule organic content across 30+ social media pages for multiple dealerships, ensuring timely and consistent posting
  • Craft and execute compelling social media ad campaigns to boost engagement and drive sales
  • Utilize provided content, including image libraries and dealership-specific video content, to create engaging posts that resonate with local audiences
  • Monitor and actively engage with community interactions across various social media channels, fostering positive customer relationships
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall brand strategy and goals
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights to improve future campaigns
  • Adapt content and strategies to cater to both urban and regional audience preferences
  • Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates, implementing new features and best practices as appropriate
Requirements
  • 4+ years of proven experience in social media management or as a virtual assistant in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry or retail sector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using various social media scheduling tools and platforms
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting
  • In-depth familiarity with social media advertising platforms and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone for different brands and audiences
  • Basic understanding of the automotive industry and enthusiasm for cars is a plus
  • Ability to interpret and act on social media analytics to drive performance improvements
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to accommodate time-sensitive posts or campaigns
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
