Role Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team remotely. This role is specifically tailored for individuals with a proven track record in the interior design, architecture, construction, or related industries, and who can independently develop and implement social media strategies for multiple brands. This is a senior role requiring a self-directed professional who can hit the ground running without daily oversight and take responsibility for driving exceptional results. 

Scope of Work: 

  • Lead the social media presence for multiple brands and product lines. 
  • Contribute to broader digital marketing eTorts and campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer support, to align goals and deliver results. 
  • Adapt and refine content strategies based on performance metrics and evolving industry trends.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence across various platforms. 
  • Content Creation: Design and curate engaging content (images, videos, and captions) tailored for each platform. 
  • Platform Management: Schedule and manage posts on: 
o Instagram  
o Facebook  
o LinkedIn  
o Pinterest  
o X  
o Blog  
o YouTube (longer-term goal).  
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering online communities. 
  • Analytics and Optimization: Monitor social media metrics, generate performance reports, and adjust strategies to achieve goals. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of messaging and brand voice. 
  • Influencer Outreach: Identify and engage with industry influencers and relevant online communities to drive brand visibility. 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on B2B and design-related industries such as interior design, architecture, or construction. 
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, BuTer) and analytics platforms. 
  • Strong creative skills with experience in image and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies. 
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage tasks eTectively in a remote setting. 
  • Familiarity with industry trends and audience engagement practices specific to the niche sectors.
