Role Summary
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to be our first SDR hire to build and scale the organization. This role is perfect for someone that has a proven track record of both hitting and exceeding goals as an SDR and 1-2 years of front line managing a team of SDRs ( inbound and outbound). This role will start as an individual contributor processing inbound leads while simultaneously building out the playbook so that within an estimated six months time, you will grow and lead a team of high-performing SDR team within six months.
What you will do
- Process Development: Design and implement effective inbound and outbound sales strategies to generate quality leads and drive predictable revenue growth.
- Playbook Creation: Develop comprehensive playbooks that outline best practices, workflows, and scripts for cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales tactics.
- Individual Contribution: Engage in hands-on prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging, to establish a scalable process and demonstrate what success looks like.
- Goal Achievement: Set, hit, and consistently exceed measurable targets for lead generation and pipeline growth, both personally and for the team.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a world-class team of SDRs who are motivated to achieve ambitious goals.
- Coaching and Development: Provide structured training sessions and ongoing coaching to ensure team members are equipped with the skills needed to excel.
- Performance Management: Create clear KPIs, track progress, and implement data-driven strategies to continuously optimize team performance.
- Process Optimization: Develop and maintain repeatable, scalable processes that ensure operational efficiency and align with broader company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, partnerships and marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies, campaign execution, and feedback loops.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor movements, and customer pain points to better position our solutions within the restaurant technology sector
What you will bring
- 3+ years of experience in sales development with a track record of exceeding goals in both inbound and outbound sales.
- 1+ year of experience in sales development leadership
- Proven success in building and managing a high-performing SDR team.
- Expertise in cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and leveraging LinkedIn for lead generation.
- Deep understanding of CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and metrics-driven decision-making.
- Passion for the restaurant industry and a strong appreciation for its challenges and opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a process-driven approach.
- Prior experience in restaurant technology or a related industry is highly desirable.
