OVERVIEW:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a crucial member of an organization's executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of the company. The CFO provides strategic financial guidance and plays a pivotal role in decision-making to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth, focusing on IT investments, cost management, and revenue generation.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to the executive team and board of directors.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, regularly update financial forecasts, and monitor expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
· Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize the company's liquidity to support day-to-day operations and IT project investments.
· IT Investment Analysis: Evaluate and prioritize IT projects, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic objectives and deliver a strong return on investment.
· Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with IT projects, vendor contracts, and data security, including cybersecurity measures.
· Compliance and Taxation: Ensure the company's compliance with IT-related regulations and manage tax planning and reporting for IT-related income and expenses.
· Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes, especially for IT equipment, software, and services.
· Fulfill all roles and responsibilities with minimal guidance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting or related field. Master’s Degree is preferred.
· CPA preferred.
· At least 7 years’ experience managing finances and accounting.
· Previous experience in a senior financial leadership role. IT financial background strongly preferred.
· Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting, particularly as it pertains to IT project cost-benefit analysis.
· Knowledge of IT-related regulations, including data privacy laws, and experience in managing IT compliance efforts
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic environment(s).
· Proven experience in managing the financial aspects of IT projects, including project budgeting, cost control, and ROI analysis.
· Strong communication skills for conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
· Proven ability to communicate effectively with various departments and at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
· Must be organized, confident, self-motivated, and self-directing with a proven ability to identify priorities and propose solutions to achieve desired results with minimal supervision.
