About the Role

Join our Lexis®PSL Construction team as a construction lawyer focused on delivering and maintaining legal practical guidance, precedents, industry insight, horizon-scanning, and online solutions for transactional construction law practitioners. You will be part of a high-functioning team producing a market-leading product essential for law firms and companies of all sizes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and maintain a market-leading content set for the PSL modules, including practice notes, precedents, checklists, and flowcharts.

  • Collaborate with Lexis®PSL Hub to produce a high-quality current awareness offering tailored to construction lawyers.

  • Engage proactively with customers and contacts in law firms and the construction industry to understand their needs and stay updated with practice developments.

  • Assist with customer questions via feedback or the LexisAsk service and develop Q&A materials.

  • Work proactively with other Lexis®PSL practice areas and the wider business.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with significant experience in construction law.

  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, key construction law concepts, and relevant legislation.

  • Awareness of legal issues and developments affecting the construction industry.

  • Strong grasp of contract law and familiarity with related areas of law.

  • Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts clearly and concisely.

  • Excellent research, organization, and planning skills.
