About the Role: We are seeking an inquisitive and principled AI Ethicist Intern to join our team. This role is designed for a Master’s level student with a strong interest in the ethical implications of artificial intelligence technologies. You will help ensure that our AI systems are developed and deployed responsibly and inclusively. This immersive internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with senior management, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While demanding, it promises to be a rewarding complement to your academic journey, equipping you with valuable skills and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI systems and algorithms to ensure ethical compliance with fairness, accountability, and transparency standards.
- Research and propose guidelines to mitigate biases in AI models.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design ethical frameworks for AI development.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulations in AI ethics and responsible AI.
- Create reports and recommendations for stakeholders on ethical AI practices.
- Advocate for inclusivity and diversity in AI system design.
About You:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, or a related field required. Master’s program enrollment or completion is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies and concepts.
- Strong understanding of ethical frameworks and their application in technology.
- Experience in policy development or research is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Recruitment Process:

- Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit. The ability to video record your answers will be required.
- Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
- Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you believe that this internship is for you.
