As an Account Startup Project Manager (ASU PM), you’ll be the driving force behind launching new client accounts and managing large-scale transformations. From the moment a new logo is signed, you’ll take ownership of implementing business and commercial processes, ensuring a seamless transition into full operations. Collaborating closely with the Global Transition & Transformation (GT&T) team, you’ll be responsible for delivering your element of the transition program on time and within budget, while reporting progress, status, risks, and issues to the GT&T lead, Client Partner, Account Business Manager, and Client. Your leadership will set the foundation for long-term client success and operational excellence.


Daily challenges

  • Agreeing the startup activities, deliverables, and schedule with GT&T and the Client ;

  • Setting up and delivering the agreed tools and processes in time;

  • Ensuring the  reporting is accurate and comprehensive for each project & overall program;

  • Documenting the lessons learned and sharing with the management at the closure of GT&T;

  • Engaging with customers and account teams as the primary external interface;

  • Collaborating with various DXC partner organizations, including Finance and Billing, Contract Management, GT&T, and Supply Chain Management.

eXperience and skills required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering, or an equivalent blend of education and experience;

  • Strong understanding or knowledge of project management principles and tools; hands-on project management experience is a plus;

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Outsourcing, project management, business analysis, or a related field;

  • Proven ability to work, communicate, and negotiate effectively in an international, cross-functional, and virtual team environment;

  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven, with a hands-on approach to get things done;

  • Strong deadline management skills, ability to perform under pressure, and stay within budget constraints;

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus;

  • PMI Certification or equivalent qualification, along with ITIL Certification, is a strong advantage.
