Why you’ll love this role:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Staff GRC person with exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills - by joining our team, you will have a broad and meaningful impact while safeguarding our customers and our end users. You will utilize your strong background in policy and process articulation, operationalizing risk management strategies, and your excellent project and program management skills to craft clarity and collaborate with an amazing group of people. As our Senior Staff GRC person, you will establish, implement, and monitor governance, risk, and compliance standards and frameworks. You will ensure effective risk management processes are in place to meet regulatory and business requirements in a fast-paced, challenging, and extremely rewarding position.

If you’ve got it - we want it:

  • 4+ years of experience building and leading fast paced GRC programs in cloud software companies
  • Lead governance enhancements: Develop, implement, and maintain clear and comprehensive GRC policies, procedures, and standards to address risks, regulatory requirements, and compliance mandates. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and internal governance needs.
  • Operationalize GRC standards and frameworks: Lead cross functional collaboration with stakeholders to ensure risk mitigation plans are integrated into day-to-day operations and risk management processes are sustainable.
  • Communication skills: Strong, clear communication to all employees across multiple levels of expertise and experience. The ability to inform and collaborate with estaff, upper and middle management, and various audiences spanning diverse teams is a priority.
  • Project & program management: Effective logical and logistical organization where needed; proficiency in using GSuite, Atlassian (primarily Jira & Confluence), and modern GRC tooling for tracking and publication, respectively; aptitude for collaboration over #slack.
  • Continuous Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor GRC processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency. Act as a change agent to ensure the organization adapts to evolving regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure compliance and risk management objectives are achieved. Foster supportive, collaborative environment that ensures the GRC function meets business needs effectively.

As an active member of our team, you will:

  • Proficiency with GRC functions
  • Strong organization skills to effectively program manage and lead strategic projects, while responding to ad-hoc requests
  • Excellent communication skills to work with dynamic teams and communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of hierarchy
  • Comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical acumen, self-motivated, able to work cross functionally
  • Adaptability, willingness to learn new technology, methodology, and frameworks
  • Eagerness to build and create process and structure where none exists
