As BETER continues its rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced International lawyer to strengthen our legal team and support our expanding global operations. This role will be crucial in ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, managing corporate legal matters, and providing legal guidance on regulatory requirements.

BETER is a fast-growing product company specializing in sports and esports content. We create and distribute content based on real sports and esports competitions, producing over 32,000+ sports & esports matches monthly and leveraging analytical data. Our content reaches 35+ million viewers in 150+ countries.
Responsibilities
• Conduct KYC & due diligence checks for partners, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, collecting and verifying KYC documents, and managing partner portfolios.
• Handle banking compliance, including the preparation of documents necessary for bank account opening and annual reviews.
• Collaborate with corporate agents in Cyprus, Curacao, Hong Kong, Malta, Romania, and other jurisdictions to establish and support non-resident companies. Responsibilities include drafting corporate documents, facilitating structural changes (e.g., SPA, minutes of shareholder and BoD meetings), organizing document signings, apostille procedures, and maintaining legal records.
• Ensure legal compliance, conducting research and advising on regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions where the company operates.
• Prepare documents for obtaining and maintaining B2B gambling licenses (EU, UK, Curacao, Isle of Man, USA, Latin America, etc.).
• Draft and review various international contracts.
• Cooperate with foreign legal advisers on matters related to the Group’s international legal entities.
Requirements
• Higher legal education
• 5+ years of legal experience
• Experience covering the full scope of legal issues within an international business environment
• Expertise in multiple jurisdictions, including Cyprus, Curacao, Hong Kong, and Malta
• Knowledge of civil, economic, intellectual, corporate, international, and banking law
• Strong negotiation skills with international legal consultants and lawyers
• Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency
• Confident user of MS Office, Excel, and legal databases (RADA, LIGA, etc.)
Nice to Have
• Experience in bank account openings and banking compliance
• Experience obtaining B2B gambling licenses in regulated jurisdictions
