Making Cents International seeks a Logistics Manager for the anticipated USAID/Bureau for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Analytical Services V (AS V) Activity. ASV will provide a range of services–including analysis, assessment, research, training, communications, knowledge management, and rapid-response technical resources and support–to the DRG Bureau, USAID Missions, and other USAID operating units to inform and advance DRG approaches and programming.
This position is contingent upon winning a contract award.
Role and TasksThe Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing program operations, tracking deliverables and budgets, and recruiting and fielding staff and consultants for Task Orders. The Logistics Manager will report to the Analytical Services V Senior Program Director.
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Overseeing all program operations, including Task Order operations
• Managing tasking delivery to ensure taskings are completed on time and on budget
• Tracking deadlines for all deliverables
• Leading recruitment and onboarding of consultants
• Overseeing logistics for consultants, including onboarding, travel, in-country support, security, and invoicing
• Supervising cash flow management, timesheet recording, and financial reporting
• Ensuring rapid response, mobilization, and startup of activities, including in transitional environments
Work ScheduleThis position is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based in the Washington, DC area.
Required Qualifications• BA with 4 years of experience as a project manager on international development projects
• Demonstrated experience assigning staff and/or short-term consultants worldwide in the most expedient and cost-effective manner
• Demonstrated skills in operations, budgeting, recruitment, and project planning
• Experience overseeing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Knowledge of USAID regulations and procurement processes preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic preferred
