We are looking for a Telecom Pre-Sales Engineer as the main technical expert supporting the sales teams, whose main role will be to ensure customers are integrated and onboarded smoothly and as quickly as possible.
The ideal candidate must be able to articulate technology and product knowledge between both business and technical owners.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the sales process as a technical advisor, serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the pre-sales phase. 
  • Get involved in the technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs, providing detailed and accurate responses to meet customer requirements and expectations. 
  • Oversee interconnections and hardware dimensioning/delivery during new customer onboarding, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth process. 
  • Provide technical guidance and training internally and to customers. 
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of technical presentations. 
  • Responsible for conveying customer requirements to Product Management. 
  • Ensure timely product integration and deployment by proactively addressing potential delays, resolving issues efficiently, and implementing strategies to reduce deployment timelines. 


You need to bring with you:

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience. 
  • Fluent in English and French, excellent verbal and written. 
  • Flexibility to travel across Africa as required to support customer engagements and project needs. 
  • Experience resolving complex, undefined challenges. 
  • Knowledge of SMS A2P and Voice businesses. 
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge and concepts to non-technical people. 
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 


It would be great if you have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical customer-facing role. 
  • Working understanding of Linux, and Kubernetes. 
  • Telecom (infrastructure and operations) and Messaging experience (CPaaS, SMS, Voice, Telecom Data, Carrier ecosystem).
