Job Overview:
As the Product Manager for our new Health Savings Account (HSA) platform, you will play a critical role in the creation and launch of a brand-new product. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the product strategy, define its vision, and lead the development of a next-generation HSA platform from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and legal, to build a product that addresses real customer needs and delivers tangible value.
You will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, translating market and user insights into actionable features, and working with your team to bring the product to life. This is a high-impact role that requires vision, leadership, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and communicate the product vision and long-term strategy for the HSA platform, ensuring it aligns with overall company objectives.
- Leverage your extensive knowledge of the HSA market to understand the needs of target audiences (individuals, employers, financial institutions) and design solutions accordingly.
- Identify key differentiators and innovative features that will set the HSA platform apart in the market.
- Building a New Product:
- Lead the product development process for a brand-new HSA platform, from concept to MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and beyond.
- Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and prioritize features based on business value and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless execution of the product vision and build an intuitive user experience.
- Customer-Centric Development:
- Engage directly with potential customers, including individual consumers, employers, and administrators, to gather feedback and validate assumptions.
- Drive the creation of user personas and customer journeys to inform product decisions.
- Use insights from customer feedback and data analytics to continuously refine and enhance the product.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product goals, launch plans, and post-launch support.
- Help define go-to-market strategies, ensuring that product positioning and messaging resonate with target audiences.
- Maintain clear communication across all teams to ensure smooth collaboration, issue resolution, and progress tracking.
- Support new sales opportunities by providing subject matter expertise of the platform and the market
- Launch and Iteration:
- Own the product roadmap and lead the development of key milestones for the HSA platform, from initial launch to subsequent iterations.
- Plan and execute a successful product launch, coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless rollout.
- Monitor post-launch performance, gather customer feedback, and prioritize future features and improvements based on user needs and business objectives.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure the platform meets all regulatory and compliance requirements specific to HSAs, including IRS guidelines, and other applicable laws.
- Work closely with legal, security, and compliance teams to build a secure and trusted product that protects user data and ensures privacy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field.
- 5 + years of experience in product management, technology, healthcare, or a related area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
