The Salesforce Administrator at Duck Creek Technologies is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce environment, with a focus on integrating platforms such as Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, and similar tools. This role involves addressing complex integration challenges, ensuring seamless connectivity across systems, and supporting business operations. The Associate Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and creative solutions that align with company objectives. Using advanced knowledge and problem-solving skills, this position drives efficiency and enhances the overall functionality of Salesforce integrations.

Job Description

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions that address complex business requirements and contribute to operational efficiency.
  • Manage and configure Salesforce integrations with platforms like Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, etc., to enhance system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide creative, effective solutions to meet business needs.
  • Analyze and resolve complex Salesforce-related issues, exercising judgment in selecting the best approach to achieve results.
  • Oversee and ensure the integrity of data management tasks, including data imports, cleansing, and maintenance.
  • Monitor Salesforce security settings, user permissions, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
  • Conduct regular system audits, identifying areas for improvement and preparing for Salesforce upgrades to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, processes, and integrations.
  • Stay informed of Salesforce updates and new features, evaluating and implementing relevant changes that align with business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Proven experience with integration platforms such as Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent year of experience
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Experience in a global software company or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
  • Proficiency in integration platforms like Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data management and data analysis.
