Position Summary: 

We are seeking a Manager, Content Strategist to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that drives engagement, builds brand trust, and supports business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices and how to optimize content to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance website performance. Additionally, they should possess a strong understanding of the freight and logistics industry, exceptional storytelling skills, that grow brand awareness and influence. This role is focused on increasing buyer-ready traffic, driving lead generation and eCommerce sales, and accelerating pipeline conversions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Content Strategy Development: 

  • Create and execute a cohesive content strategy aligned with Truckstop’s business goals, audience needs, and brand voice. 
  • Identify opportunities to fill content gaps across the customer journey, from awareness to retention. 

Content Creation and Management: 

  • Develop high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and social media assets. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create product-specific content that educates and converts, educates, and retains target audiences. 
  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO, using data-driven insights to improve search rankings and organic traffic. 

Industry Thought Leadership: 

  • Research and analyze trends in the freight and logistics industry to produce timely, relevant, and insightful content. 
  • Partner with subject matter experts to showcase Truckstop’s expertise and value proposition. 

Performance Analysis: 

  • Use analytics tools to measure content performance, engagement, and ROI. 
  • Refine content strategies based on data insights and audience feedback. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and amplify campaigns. 
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice across all content channels. 
  • Collaborate with other marketing channels to proactively develop and execute plans for distributing content that drives engagement from both prospects and customers. 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush). 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on engaging diverse audiences. 
  • Familiarity with the freight and logistics industry is a plus. 
  • Proficient in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$104,000$130,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
