Manager, Analytics

How will this role have an impact?

The Sr. Manager, Operations Analytics will be responsible for the management and vision of the Business Analytics (BA) team. In this role, the Sr. Manager will partner with cross functional teams to coordinate, facilitate, and project manage the ingestion of data from and the delivery of reports to Signify clients. To achieve this aim, the Sr. Manager will develop and coach Business Analysts to ensure they are able to deliver consistently for clients and are able to operate with minimal supervision and/or intervention. When needed, the Sr. Manager will act as the arbiter for addressing conflicts between stakeholders and to set prioritization of disparate client needs.

The ideal candidate will be collaborative, results oriented, and proficient in employee development. The candidate will also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across a wide range of teams. Further, they will develop strategies and approaches to encourage standardization of processes, establish swimlane responsibilities with other teams, and manage and maintain documentation of BA workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of business analysts with multiple disciplines supporting a high volume environment with data that reaches internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and coach BA team members to ensure they are able to operate independently
• Work cross collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the consistent ingestion of data and delivery of reports
• Identify production issues, work in partnership with analytic leads and effectively communicate plan of action to leadership for solutions
• Manage, prioritize, and communicate BA activities via JIRA
• Partner with the BA team in gathering requirements, creating documentation and analyzing business requirements at an individual client based level to deliver on client request
• Own the overall strategy for business workflow optimization and documentation
• Ensure clear communication of project or ticket goals, timelines, and expectations across all teams.
• Monitor the progress of various business analysis activities and report status updates.
• Identify risks with data integrity and apply the appropriate fixes as needed for client needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional experience in a corporate setting supporting high volume teams
• 3+ years of experience with mutli-stakeholder project management
• 2+ years of management experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent)
• Analytical skills to assist in interpreting business requirements and translating them into actionable tasks.
• Intermediate SQL experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• MBA or master’s degree in a related field

The base salary hiring range for this position is $75,400 to $122,500. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
