Role Overview:

The VP of Delivery will play a critical leadership role in driving client success by overseeing account management, project delivery, and overall client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing operations within a consulting or professional services environment. The VP of Delivery will be responsible for ensuring customers are happy, projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and that we continue to have world-class account management and delivery organizations. This individual will also be a key member of the Nimble Gravity leadership team, 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Strategy and Account Development 
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic objectives and align Nimble Gravity’s solutions to meet or exceed their goals.
    • Oversee and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.
    • Drive strategic account planning with the sales team, identifying growth opportunities and areas to expand Nimble Gravity services.
    • Serve as an escalation point for client issues and ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Project Delivery:
    • Lead the project delivery function to ensure timely, high-quality, and profitable execution of client engagements.
    • Develop and implement project management best practices and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
    • Collaborate with the CPO, CTO and engineering leadership to ensure effective resource allocation and capacity planning to meet project demands.
    • Define, track, and report on KPIs related to account growth, client satisfaction, and project success.
    • Ensure regular feedback loops with clients and internal teams to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers, account executives, and client success professionals.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
  • Operational Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute the company’s external operations strategy.
    • Drive operational improvements to enhance the client experience and streamline project delivery.
    • Ensure alignment between client needs, internal capabilities, and business goals.
  • Integration of Service Delivery (M&A context):
    • Provide insights during due diligence to assess service delivery capabilities and potential integration challenges.
    • Ensure alignment of delivery teams, services, systems and processes as part of M&A integration process.
    • Establish KPIs to measure integration success and performance and monitor and track progress against goals.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in client-facing operations or delivery roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment with near- and/or off-shore delivery teams.
  • Proven experience in managing and scaling account management and project delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and drive client success.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience building executive-level communications and presentations 
  • Experience with revenue operations tools and systems.
  • Self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data science, digital transformation, or technology consulting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
