Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Production Assistant to join a creative team that offers exposure to a wide range of growth opportunities.

Our client is a design and manufacturing firm headquartered in San Francisco Bay Area, with regional offices in Pasadena, Hong Kong and Mainland China. They bring over 20 years of experience in creative brand storytelling, trend forecasting, thoughtful design, and high-quality manufacturing—all within a single organization. The client specializes in reimagining traditional craftsmanship using modern techniques and premium materials. Their collections, which include both seasonal and everyday items as well as exclusive lines, are meticulously designed with a focus on detail and quality.

Their product range spans tableware, drinkware, giftware, pet essentials, and home accessories.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with designers and Illustrators.
  • Creation of production art files for product sampling and manufacturing.
  • Produce technical drawings with precise measurements to minimize revisions and resampling.
  • Prepare dieline artwork files for packaging release to printers.
  • Become familiar with the variety of accounts and their respective quality and pricing requirements will be key to being successful in this role.
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or any related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product design
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, provided they are amenable to working on 3D designs and proficient in the required software
  • Proficient in using Illustrator, Photoshop (including color correction), Outlook, and MS Office
  • Familiarity with ceramic mass production process (domestic or overseas) is helpful, but not required
  • Experience with PLM software is helpful but not required
  • Background in working within the tabletop / home and kitchenware industries is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated the ability to take initiative, multitask effectively, and work with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

1:00 am – 10:00 am PH time (9:00 am – 6:00 pm PST) Inclusive of our 1-hour break.
