Head of Consultative Sales Team - INFORM (US)
Role and Situation Summary:

Inspired by leading industry teams known for their innovative approaches, you will lead and shape a dynamic team committed to customer-centric, collaborative, and creative problem-solving strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Establish and lead a high-performing consultative sales team, developing methodologies that resonate with targeted customer personas. Focus on uncovering customer dissatisfaction, crafting a compelling vision for the future, and providing clear guidance to drive engagement.
- Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across Splunk and Cisco, fostering alliances that amplify our consultative sales impact.
- Global Practice Development: Collaborate with European teams to elevate and expand our consultative sales practices on a global scale.
- Engagement Pipeline Development: Cultivate and manage both internal and external engagement pipelines, ensuring a robust flow of opportunities and initiatives.
- Brand Management and Growth: Develop compelling cases to support continued investment and the growth of the brand, demonstrating the value of consultative sales and the methodologies adopted.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational requirements of the consultative sales group, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of solutions.
- Amplification Impact: To establish and oversee the collection of trends and learning to amplify the impact of each engagement and INFORM GTM strategies, support wider adoption of approach across sales field organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10 + years Proven leadership experience in similar roles in a software sales organization
- A proven track record of providing consulting services spanning strategic consulting, design thinking, business transformation, and data strategy, and or potentially applicable methods.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading consultative sales teams, with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and collaborators.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating sophisticated concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a global context, particularly with European teams, is highly desirable.
- Highly desirable would be a strong technical background or interest and the ability to understand and connect with highly technical personas.
- A passion for customer-centric approaches and creative problem-solving.
- An MBA or background or equivalent experience in a large consulting firm is highly desirable.

Note:
OTE Pay Ranges
For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
On Target Earnings: $306,000.00 - 420,750.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.
On Target Earnings: $291,600.00 - 400,950.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
