Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location:
Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with multi-client experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes in a team environment. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can work independently while collaborating with a US-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including transaction categorization and account reconciliations as part of a team environment.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using platforms like QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in a team setting.
  • Process payroll using Gusto or similar platforms.
  • File sales and excise tax reports accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific financial policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Gusto.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Humility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improve
  • Keen attention to detail and obsession with making sure there is accuracy, integrity, and dependability in their work
  • Joy and a positive attitude in all communications internally and externally
  • Persistence and an ability to politely remind others to stay on track
  • Excellence in following and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience completing month-end close processes independently.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial tools or certifications in bookkeeping.
