Job Description
This role is field-based and pivotal in driving business growth across North England, covering Nottingham and areas further north. The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to expand market share in the Hip, Knee, and Shoulder segments by leveraging deep product knowledge, competitive insights, and market dynamics. Key responsibilities include delivering technical training, nurturing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Continuous support and mentorship will be provided by an experienced team.
The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with regional and national business teams to proactively identify opportunities in both penetration and acquisition accounts, ensuring sustained portfolio growth. The role involves extensive customer engagement through pre-planned sales activities and strategic account management.
Quarterly updates on new product implementations, business strategies, and sales forecasts will be crucial, reporting directly to Sales Management and Marketing. Beyond driving direct sales, the role includes providing field training for internal teams and customers, offering insights on equipment investment profitability, and collaborating on forecasting and new product development with regional and UK management.
