Christopher Culross, CEO of TC Controls and Services, Inc., leads a business specializing in designing, engineering, and installing control automation systems for indoor environments. TC Controls operates across two sectors: commercial building automation for human comfort and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), which includes cannabis, food production, and horticulture. The company is focused on providing innovative solutions to control indoor environments and is poised for continued growth and expansion.

The ideal assistant is proactive, highly accountable, and works to the highest standard. This role requires someone who can provide seamless communication and support for the CEO and the team while staying organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a vital role in managing the CEO’s day-to-day activities, ensuring priorities are addressed, and helping the team stay on track with key initiatives. To excel in this role, you must thrive under pressure, confidently handle tight deadlines, and maintain accountability, all while consistently demonstrating professionalism and focus.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the CEO's calendar
  • Assist with travel preparation and arrangements
  • Prepare meeting notes and agendas
  • Take detailed minutes for meetings
  • Schedule and organize board, leadership, team, and one-on-one meetings
  • Follow up on action items and deadlines
  • Assist in tracking progress on key initiatives and projects
  • Conduct research and compile information to assist in decision-making
  • Assist with social media support
  • Assist the CEO in preparing for their day and week and ensuring they stay accountable
  • Support internal communication and become the go-to person for tech-related matters

You must be ready to use and have basic experience with the following tools:

  • Social Media for a business (Instagram, LinkedIn)

Position Details:

  • This is a remote W2 employee position
  • Benefits include medical, dental/vision, PTO, sick time, paid holidays, a 401(k), a monthly remote work stipend, and bonus pay
  • The position will be 30-40 hours per week
  • Hours are: Monday- Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm EST.
  • Domestic and international travel, approximately four weeks per year, will be required
  • The pay rate is $25/hour USD
  • You must be able to pass a background check
  • We're looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member
