Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor with a strong background in New Zealand mortgage practices to join our team. In this role, you will support our mortgage advisors by managing client onboarding, preparing loan applications, and ensuring documentation accuracy while complying with New Zealand banking regulations.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding: Assist clients through the onboarding process, ensuring proper understanding and signing of documents such as Declaration and Scope of Service.
  • Loan Application Preparation: Review, prepare, and finalize loan applications for submission by mortgage advisors, ensuring all client and lender records are accurate.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date client records, file notes, and loan documentation in the CRM system.
  • Refinancing & Loan Restructuring: Assist with processing client refinancing, restructures, and refix requests.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to New Zealand’s financial regulations, including the Privacy Act 2020 and AML/CFT compliance, while ensuring the confidentiality and security of client data.


Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience with New Zealand mortgage processes, including loan applications, refinancing, and fixed-rate reviews.
  • Familiarity with lender portals such as ANZ, ASB, Westpac, or BNZ.
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand lending policies and affordability assessments.
  • Experience with credit assessments and reviewing financial documents.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Workspace, and CRMs.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working in a New Zealand mortgage broking environment.
  • Familiarity with website maintenance and social media content creation.
  • Prior work experience in New Zealand’s banking sector.
  • Financial Services Certifications such as the NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
  • AML/CFT training certification.

  • Competitive Salary: PHP 35,000 - 45,000 gross per month (based on experience).
