MicroHealth is seeking a skilled and experienced EDI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and cloud-based data integration solutions. This role is crucial in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our EDI systems to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange with our business partners. *This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain EDI interfaces using industry-standard X-12 formats
Implement and optimize ETL processes
Collaborate with business analysts to understand and implement EDI requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues promptly
Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes and data flows
Ensure compliance with EDI standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Create and maintain reports related to EDI transactions and system performance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI development and implementation
Strong knowledge of EDI X-12 standards and transaction sets
Proficiency in ETL processes and tools
Solid understanding of data mapping and transformation techniques
Familiarity with EDI/ETL software and integration platforms
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience AWS or other cloud platforms.
Experience with AWS Glue
Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
Knowledge of other EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, HL7)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience in healthcare, retail, or supply chain industries
Salary:
$115,000-$125,000
