Job description

Your mission

For our Team "Yukon" we are looking for a new team member. The Yukon team at Checkmk focuses on realizing a new Synthetic Monitoring feature by integrating RobotMK with Checkmk:

As part of one of our product development teams you will work on the further development of our monitoring solution and contribute to the release of the next versionsÂ
You will work closely with different teams such as QA, Security, Product Management and other development teams
You will use technologies and tools such as Python, Jenkins, Pylint, Gerrit, git and Pytest to ensure that our platform stays up to date and provides a seamless experience for our customers
As a member of our team, you'll be able to express a passion for improving software productsÂ
We are an agile team that works in 2 week sprints with dailies, retros and plannings and continuously improves our development process
You like to bring in new ideas and approaches and work in a team that collaborates on new features and improvements

Your profile

You have 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python
You have good knowledge of Linux
You are business fluent in written and spoken English
Ideally, you already have experience with Rust and/or Kubernetes
